Paint X Design ("the App", "we", "us") is developed by Creative Lizard ("Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, what it does not collect, and how optional features handle data. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
The core drawing experience requires no account and collects no data. Specifically, we do not collect:
The optional AI drawing feature is powered by the Anthropic Claude API. To use this feature you must supply your own Anthropic API key. Your API key is stored only on your device (local device storage) and is sent directly from your device to Anthropic's servers — it is never transmitted to or stored by the Developer. Drawing prompts you submit are sent to the Anthropic API to generate artwork. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they process API requests.
The cast feature streams your canvas as image frames over your local network only. No canvas data is sent to external servers by the App. When casting to Chromecast, your device communicates directly with the Chromecast device on the same Wi-Fi network using the Google Cast protocol. Google's own privacy practices apply to the Chromecast device.
While the App is running, it optionally starts a local HTTP server on port 7465 bound to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) only. This server is not accessible from the internet or from other devices on your network. It is used solely to allow companion tools (such as Claude Code CLI) running on the same device to send drawing commands to the canvas.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
